Botulinum toxin should be reconstituted only by trained and certified professionals using sterile technique, in accordance with local regulations and manufacturer guidance.

General Reconstitution Guidelines:
-Use sterile 0.9% sodium chloride (saline) solution.
-Inject the saline slowly into the vial to avoid excessive pressure or foam formation.
-Gently rotate the vial until fully dissolved.
-Do not shake aggressively.

Common Professional Dilution Examples for 100 U:
-1 mL saline → higher concentration
-2 mL saline → balanced concentration
-2.5 mL saline → commonly used soft dilution
4 mL saline → lower concentration / wider spread

Example Calculation:
If 2.5 mL saline is added to a 100 U vial:
-100 U ÷ 2.5 mL = 40 U per mL
-0.1 mL = 4 U
